I’m a software engineer who enjoys building systems that survive real users, real scale, and real constraints. I work mostly on backend and cloud infrastructure, where clean abstractions, observability, and reliability matter more than buzzwords.
My journey has been shaped by competitive programming, distributed systems, and hands-on cloud engineering. I like problems that start messy and end simple. Performance issues, scaling bottlenecks, and design trade-offs are the kind of puzzles I willingly lose sleep over.
Alongside building, I care deeply about teaching and community. As a Ex-GDG On-Campus Lead and a Gold Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador, I’ve mentored thousands of students through workshops, labs, and developer programs, helping them move from tutorials to tangible systems.
When I’m not coding, I’m usually thinking about system design, developer tooling, or how to explain complex ideas clearly. If you’re building something interesting or just want to talk tech over coffee, I’m always happy to connect.
Designing and building scalable APIs, microservices, and data-driven systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and clean architecture.
Building and operating cloud-native systems using containers, orchestration, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation for production workloads.
Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving, developed through consistent practice and competitive platforms.
Designing systems that handle scale, concurrency, and failures using asynchronous processing, messaging, caching, and observability.
Comfortable working with Linux environments, networking basics, debugging, logs, and system-level performance analysis.
Translating requirements into scalable architectures by evaluating trade-offs across performance, cost, and reliability.
Mentoring developers through workshops, labs, and community programs focused on practical cloud and software engineering skills.
Instrumenting systems with metrics, logs, and traces to diagnose failures, understand behavior at scale, and improve reliability.
I have hosted various events at my college for IIC. Wanna see ? I also host technical workshops as a part of my being a Microsoft LSA.
Served as Technical Lead of IIC-TMSL (Entrepreneurship Cell) and Eclectica Literary Club, architecting and executing 15+ large-scale technical and community initiatives. As GDG On-Campus Lead (formerly GDSC), scaled the developer ecosystem to 1,950+ active members, delivering hands-on workshops and labs on Cloud, AI, DevOps, and Backend Engineering.
led CurBrain, the institute’s official competitive programming hub, organizing 8 hackathons and contests with 300+ active participants. Also served as Anti-Ragging Squad Lead, balancing technical leadership with institutional governance and student welfare.
Scored 93.4% in PCMB, with a strong inclination toward mathematics, physics, and structured problem-solving. During this period, I began moving beyond textbook learning, spending significant time understanding how problems are solved rather than just arriving at answers.
Alongside academics, I independently learned Python through MIT OpenCourseWare and online resources, experimenting with basic scripts, logic-building exercises, and algorithmic thinking. This phase marked my transition from academic performance to computational thinking, forming the foundation for later work in competitive programming, backend development, and system design.
Graduated with 93.8%, earning multiple academic and extracurricular distinctions.
Beyond academics, active participation in art and creative competitions sharpened my attention to detail, visual reasoning, and patience. These skills later translated naturally into debugging complex code paths, and designing systems where small oversights can have large consequences.
Driving institution-scale software and AI initiatives across the Techno India Group ecosystem. Leading the planning, development, and deployment of scalable internal platforms used by 15k+ users across academic and technical programs.
Delivering Google AI–aligned instruction through classrooms, workshops, and hands-on labs, impacting 13.8k+ learners across multiple campuses. Working closely with faculty, leadership, and technical teams to align AI and software curricula with industry requirements, enabling adoption across multiple academic programs.
Worked on AI-driven production platforms including TBAI and CrewConnect, building and deploying cloud-native backend systems on Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes. Supported 10k+ weekly active users with 99.9%+ service uptime.
Designed scalable architectures, automated CI/CD pipelines, and implemented observability using Prometheus and Grafana, improving reliability and reducing issue diagnosis time. Owned end-to-end backend delivery for critical services while collaborating across engineering and product teams.
Delivered 40+ end-to-end production systems for global clients, spanning responsive frontends (Next.js/SvelteKit) and scalable backends (NestJS, Python, Elixir).
Designed and deployed cloud-native infrastructures across GCP, AWS, and Azure, using Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Built real-time systems using GraphQL, gRPC, and WebSockets, implemented security layers with Istio, Vault, and Falco, and optimized data pipelines with Kafka and Flink, consistently reducing deployment cycles by 30–40%.
Co-organizing API-focused workshops and hands-on sessions, contributing to community-driven learning around API design, testing, and developer tooling within the Kolkata developer ecosystem.
Contributed to organizing offline and hybrid events collectively engaging 6,000+ developers, with a focus on cloud-native technologies, DevOps practices, and real-world Google Cloud use cases.
Helped organize GenAI and machine-learning focused events, reaching 400+ developers, emphasizing practical ML workflows and applied AI discussions.
Part of the core organizing and technical team, contributing to cloud-native workshops and initiatives reaching 100+ developers and supporting community projects.
Selected as a Gold Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador (top 5% globally), mentoring students and delivering workshops across cloud, AI, and software engineering domains.
Progressed from DevOps member to Campus Lead, spearheading Google Cloud Study Jams and mentoring 750+ students. Led multiple hybrid technical projects and scaled campus developer initiatives.
Promoted data structures, algorithms, and competitive programming culture through campus sessions, peer mentoring, and community initiatives.
